Yes, all the ceramics listed on the site were hand made on the wheel by Kristen for Studio Peach. Therefore, no two items are alike and your piece is completely original.
Yes, all the items listed were made with food safe glazes. You can eat and drink from them with confidence that there is no lead or transferable toxic metals.
While all items are dishwasher safe it is recommended to protect the integrity of the glaze you handwash them. Additionally, minimal contact with metal (such as cutlery) will help protect the surface and longevity of the piece.
In the unlikely event your cup explodes when hot liquid is poured into it, please contact me directly to discuss receiving a refund.
However, I do not offer refunds if you break your ceramic item from dropping it, however, you can refer to the commissions section if you would like to have a replica made.
Yes, I have allowed for the option of dessert stands to be pre-ordered. If the pre-order option is available, I am sold out of current stock. There are two sizes available, and I will make to order your dessert stand. This process can take up to 5 weeks depending on the kiln schedule. I do not have control over the firing at my studio. Once a pre-order is placed you will receive an email from me confirming it is in progress and another when it is finished. If you have any pre-order questions, please reach out to me.
All of my items are marked with my initials "KM" and most with a number sequence that corresponds to my designated shelf space at the community studio where I produce my art. All my new work contains the number 69, but some treasured older pieces will be marked differently or even contain "<3" which was my previous signature.
While the vessel is hot liquid safe, ceramics can get very hot. Without a handle to protect your hand it is possible to burn or injure yourself if you use your bubble cup for a hot beverage. Should you wish to use your bubble cup for a hot beverage, exercise caution when grabbing the vessel.
Yes, all vases are glazed on the interior and safe for water with no leaking.
